As President of Harvey Fertilizer and Gas Co. Rick is involved in the management of various crops including cotton, tobacco, corn , soybeans and produce. He as been growing and ginning cotton since their first gin was built in 1991. At that time the state of North Carolina had a total of 110,000 acres of cotton. After, the company built their third gin in 1996 the state was producing cotton on 960,000 acres. The Harvey Group added a 4^th gin in 2002. Rick was elected to the Board of Directors of Beltwide Cotton Cooperative in September of 2005 as a Director At Large. Rick is a welcomed addition to the Board and we look forward to his input.
